Urban Farming

Learning Garden

Every year L.O.V.E. students learn how to start seeds, and cultivate the regrowth of food from the grocery.  Teaching the next generation how to sustainably feed themselves is a key component to L.O.V.E.'s early learning curriculum. Image of a regrown Cabbage.

Opportunities for Observation

The children are excited to see the results of their scientific explorations!  Did their seed produce a plant, or food, or flowers?  Come on into the garden and taste the results of your investigations!  Image of our class pausing play to see what's growing.
